About Kittery Place

George B. Stern, one of the pioneers in the outlet industry, started developing the Kittery outlet area in 1984. He was developing the area before REITS or national developers got into the outlet center concept. In 1989, Kittery Place was built right next to the first outlet center he built in Kittery. Amy Stern Dauphin purchased the property in 2011 and it remains a family-run business carrying on George B. Stern’s legacy.
